9 inch blue & white Jasper style pottery vase saying "ENGLAND 9" (or 6)

9 inch blue & white Jasper style pottery vase saying "ENGLAND 9" (or 6):- I found this vase at a garage sale, from far away i thought it was some type of jasper ware. (maybe an old company copying the style?)

Both sides have very dull mould seam lines, inside is thick glazed, outside has flaky dry paint.
bottom says ENGLAND and 9 or 6. (9 for the height?)

Roughly 9 inches tall and 4 inches across the opening.
If it helps,the vase is not very heavy like others i have purchased in that shape/size.

This one really has me stumpped I checked my books and quite a few places online...came up empty except for maybe an estimated date because of all the tariff articles ive read.
