Antique China, Fine China and Modern China Manufacturers Query - CARL THIEME OF POTSCHAPPEL GERMANY:- I INHERITED A PAIR OF DRESDEN URNS WHICH HAVE THE MARK OF THE STUDIO OF CARL THIEME OF POTSCHAPPEL GERMANY. HOWEVER, IN ADDITION THEY ARE STAMPED ON THE BOTTOM "SEITI MUZEUM". I BELIEVE THESE URNS WERE MADE IN THE 1890s.CAN YOU POSSIBLY PROVIDE ME WITH ANY FURTHER INFORMATION AS TO THEIR HISTORY.

Potschappel, founded by Carl Thieme in 1872, Saxony, Germany. Makers of 'art porcelain' in the 'old tradition'. The factory survives to modern times.
