Antique China Fine Makers - Mintons Mark Query?

The pattern is Frankfort. Pattern names were only put on marks after 1810. This mark is most likely 1901 - 1912 when Minton dropped the crown on some earthenwares (meaning this set is earthenware rather than bone china). The "s" had also been added on the end of the word "Minton" by then. Originally, the globe mark had no such 's'. After 1912 a new standard globe mark was designed with a crown and wreath.
I was wondering about the other mark - the circular garter mark written in French. This item appears to be for the export to the French market place, but it must be for either the retail store or the French distributor. This round garter/belt mark is shown as a mark of Minton, but a rare one from an earlier era. They must have reprised it for their export markings.
I would love to know more.... Anyone?
