The mark is that of Waechtersbach (sometimes spelled Wachtersbach) Porcelain Factory of Schlierbach, Prussia, Germany founded in 1832 and still producing today last I heard (see Waechtersbach / Wachtersbach listing)

OK, I am not sure what your ware actually is as you didn't send in a photo and didn't say, but certain Waechtersbacher ranging has a collectible following and regularly achieves hundreds of dollars at auction - i.e. between $100 - $500 USD in the lots I have looked at (not bad for a yard sale find).

The wares in question are beautifully designed in very colourful and linear 1920's art deco styling - a reaction to the previously swirling and mad art nouveau amphora vases which were previously popularised in Bohemian style (and now highly collected).

Waechtersbacher had an art pottery studio (Kunstabteilungsmarke Steingutfabrik) and developed gorgeous ceramics with well known artists like Christian Neureuther and Joseph Maria Olbrich.

If you have one of these items, you are lucky because personally I think they are a fantastic credit to ceramic design and I love them. I feel these will go on becoming more and more expansive in the future as they get older. If I was a collector, and had room, I would collect these as they currently not expensive enough in my view.

The more run of the mill production from Waechtersbacher, like the vintage flow blue does not command the sums and can sell for just a few dollars.
