Antique China Query - SMALL JAPANESE VASE or JUG
Antique China Query - SMALL JAPANESE VASE or JUG:- This was in my family. I dont know how old it is. It was purchased by my parents prior to the 1960s, that's all I can tell you.
I can't find any marks on the bottom at all.
It is very small, 3 1/2 inches tall. It has raised dots all over. These photos are blown up the piece a lot.

Antique China Query - SMALL JAPANESE VASE or JUG
Hi Jennifer
Many thanks for submitting, and hope you are finding the site useful. This small Japanese Satsuma vase was originally part of an incense set and probably was for holding oils.
Study the vase and you will see it is earthenware not porcelain. The body will have a slightly yellow hue and it will have a fine crackle glaze. Probably early 20th century.
Best regards
