I am located in Central Georgia (USA). I purchased this bowl at a Rescue Mission thrift store. It has an ancient look to it. It appears to be some sort of stoneware with possibly rockingham glaze??? Most of finish deteriorated.(see photo) embossed craving and flowers with tendrils inside of bowl. Measuring 9 1/4" long 7" wide and 2" in depth. It also appears to be hand molded. The crazing on bottom is very thick looks like cracks of hairlines. Luckily a mark is showing on bottom. (see photo). It looks to me as a encircled R than M P. Can not locate any information, can you help.
Thank you

Hi Peter,
This would be the third form on "pottery Mark Query (R) M P. I could not figure out how to edit or update original request.
I mentioned that the bowl has a encased "R", however I stand to be corrected it appears to be an encased "C". I hope this did not create to much trouble.
