Cauldon Brown or Amber Country Scenes Plates with Raised Relief Rim
Cauldon Brown or Amber Country Scenes Plates with Raised Relief Rim:- I have three Royal Cauldon Plates Pattern ROC194 which are brown with a landscaped center and embossed. Do you know the value of these plates or if there are others in the series? I have searched the internet and cannot find any information on these plates.
Thanks.
Joanne

Cauldon ware is nice but normally, an 'average' china plate rarely fetches more than a few pounds each.
However, I have seen hand painted scenes go for $100 each at auction and one auction some years ago saw some highly decorated gilded plates somewhat in the Vienna style with a small circular hand painted panel in the middle sell for $3000 for 12 dinner plates.
Other decorative Cauldon cabinet plates go for between $20 - $50.
Yours are decorative and unusual, but I doubt hand painted - never seen before this amber/brown coloration. Have no idea what these would fetch.
