China marking - Two Lions and SPCO
China marking - Two Lions and SPCO:- Great grandmother's china purchased when she was 18. the porcelain mark has two lions holding a crest that looks like it says SPCO diagonally across the crest and there is some type of "tent" between the lions' heads. Below is a banner the says Iron Stone China. Can you help with age and value?
The Forum Help Elf says:
Please always upload photos as we need these for reference in order to be of any assistance.
"SPCO" is either the Speeler Pottery Company mark (USA firm), or "SP Co" could be the Sebring Company, also American. Might be other examples but we don't know unless we see photos.
We have other "two lions" on a crest pottery marks which are as yet unidentified, so your photos could be a clue.
