Hi Rick

Thanks for sharing your story with regard to your modern Coalport Coalbrookdale Collection Vase.

A picture would be great.

Coalport produced the original range named Coalbrookdale Ware between c.1820-1840. There is not much online for sale of these antique vases, but I did see a pair on ebay selling for a buy-it-now price of £325 GBR. The newer vases tend to be Royal commemorative vases and I saw three selling together in one lot for and estimated price of £150 to £200 GBR for the lot of 3.

I am not sure you will get the actual identification of the other specialist marks online - unless you are prepared to pay for an appraisal by an antiquarian (see below in the 'tips' article). My own reference books are not that detailed. You could also try contacting the firm themselves (bearing in mind they are in change of ownership/administration processes at time of writing. Not sure whether the Coalbrookdale museum hold records of the modern wares. I know many porcelain museums do so.

Hope this helps
