Crown Sutherland?

Crown Sutherland?

Hello,

I recently was given my great grandmother's fine china and I was looking into finding out a little history on the pieces. The mark on the back is a picture of a crown, that says Crown Sutherland, and, below the crown, it says ENGLAND. I have tried looking online, but have seen only "Royal Sutherland" and "Sutherland", nothing listed as Crown Sutherland. Is it possibly synonymous with something else?

If not, do you happen to have additional information or a good place to start my search?

Thanks so much!!!!

ebay lists several Crown Sutherland patterns

I have 8 dinner plates (a heavy gold pattern) for which I have been trying to find matching pieces. Today I found 4 saucers on ebay -- listed under Crown Sutherland England. There are many different patterns listed that were made by the company Crown Sutherland and ebay displays pictures. For what it is worth, take a look at the listing on ebay.com

Did you find a site to get the info on this? I have the same set.
