Fancy Scroll Cartouche 'Colorado' Pottery Mark
Fancy Scroll Cartouche 'Colorado' Pottery Mark :- Dec. 2009, found this at an antique shop that was going out of business in Southern New Hampshire. The Vase measures 5 1/2" tall and 4 1/4" at widest point.
Blue transferware floral design. Top inch has indentations all the way around. Crazing, but no cracks or chips.
I am including a picture of the mark at the bottom.
Thanks.

Hi Judy
This looks like souvenir ware from Colorado. Obviously, much of that made and bought in for the tourists by the retailer.
Some of this Colorado tourist ware was, in fact, made in Staffordshire, England!
However there is, of course a notable American art pottery tradition based in Colorado, the most famous of which is probably Van Briggle.
Always quality ware, always distinctive and unusual, Van Briggle normally has the 'AA' (Artemus and Ann) mark.
Other makers in Colorado include:-
Marcrest
Loveland
Rocky Mountain Colorado Pottery (RoMCo)
Vernon Dolores
Coors Pottery
Herold Pottery Company
Deer Foot Pottery
Denver China & Pottery
Denver White Pottery
Broadmoor Pottery
Cecil Jones Coalbrookdale
Davis
Garden of the Gods (& Manitou)
'Newcomb College' (J B Hunt)
La Mirada Pottery
Eric Hellman
PH Genter / Paul Web
Carol and Jim Carlton's Colorado Pottery
Typically, retailers like jewelry retailer Kaufman's often bought in own brand ceramic wares made by outside makers. Your could be one such.
