Hummel Goebel Pottery Mark Query: Trying to identify this Figurine of a rare Hummel?

Hummel Goebel Pottery Mark Query: Trying Hard to Identify this Figurine I believe is a Rare Hummel:- Hello, I recently acquired a figurine that I'm trying to find out more about but have not seen any figures like this one online as of yet. The markings are TM 1 Hummel, Double Crown with the impression of number 35 along with some other impressions.
I believe it's a rare one of the first by Hummel, but not 100% sure as of yet.

Here are 2 photos, one of the figurine and one of the closeup of the markings. I had to dabble with color enhancement to bring out the markings because my camera cannot pick up that close for whatever silly reason.

If anyone can help me please email me I'd appreciate it tons!

Angie

To: Hummel Goebel Pottery Mark Query - Trying Hard to Identify this Figurine I believe is a Rare Hummel Pottery Mark

Hi Angie

Thanks for your interesting query, I really appreciate the time and trouble you took to contact the site and share. Great image enhancement work. If your camera's not great at picking out detail, try placing the piece on an ordinary scanner and scanning it!

According to Kovels, the mark appears to be Goebel but not necessarily Hummel, if you see where I'm coming from.

Look at the other entries on this site showing the same mark (type 'Hummel Goebel Mark' into the search box on the Home Page).

Unfortunately I can't give you a more definitive answer as I am no expert; my 'job' is just to point you in the right direction.

Because I don't ever value or authenticate (being a mere artisan who makes bone china figurines), I usually point visitors to this site who are seriously interested in researching their wares to a page I have written here:

www.figurines-sculpture.com/id-pottery-mark.html

Here you can contact a bona fide professional appraiser (one I’ve checked out myself) who can tell you if your mark is identifiable by experts without you having to pay any money upfront. This service is unique online and is designed to protect my site visitors from wasting their time and money online.

Any visitors who'd like to share what they know about Hummel/Goebel are welcome to leave a comment in the comments box below.

Good luck with your identification Angie.

Best regards,
