Incised Castle Pottery Mark Query - 'B' Above Castle Impression:- Have a pair of pottery candlesticks with a makers mark on the bottom that I am trying to identify. It is the impression of a castle (arched entry in front and 3 battlements - Left, Center and Right.

Any assistance appreciated!

Incised Castle Pottery Mark Query - 'B' Above Castle Impression

Hi Denise

We always like to see the wares (the actual items) as well as the mark - other contributors please note, this one nearly didn't make it to the publishing stage due to the absence of a ware photo. I made an exception because this submission will help others, even without a ware pic.

This Castle pottery mark is that of the Boleslawiec factory now based in Poland, previously known as a region called Silesia. There is a fuller history on another Boleslawiec query page Incised B Castle Pottery Mark

I have another tea pot with the same mark..with a blue k. It is adorable. I can not find any information on it. I'm in Louisiana.
