Is this a Meissen white teacup? (with a Green 'i' under the swords
Is this a Meissen white teacup? (with a Green 'i' under the swords:- A friend has asked me to look into selling what he thought was a Dresden. After looking into it, I thought it might be a Meissen, although haven't found anything to establish that exactly, as I cant find anything about the green 'I' and green number '42'also included in the markings. There is also a number 3 impressed into the underside near the edge. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction or help me substantiate it's origin. Have included some pics.
Thanks heaps in advance, in case I get lucky.
Cheers,
JulieAnne

The forum Help Elf says:-
Us elves aren't qualified to verify whether this is genuine Meissen or not, but it looks like a proper Meissen mark to my little old elf eyes. Hmmm... lucky? Yes perhaps!
How much better is Meissen than Dresden? A few hundred dollars better, that's for sure. For a professional opinion though, go here:-
