Makers mark Green 'H' with Circle Stamp on 17 inch White Porcelain Classical Nude Figurine Sculpture:- A nude female about 17 inches tall, seated with a drape of cloth. Green H in a green circle. A green stamp in a circle with a 6 or 9 and the stamp is not readable. Also has H.5. in hand written ink. I think it is porcelain. It has the number 13913 and the number 20 below that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Makers mark Green 'H' with Circle Stamp on 17 inch White Porcelain Classical Nude Figurine Sculpture
Hi Mike
Many thanks for your contribution. What a beautiful piece of sculpture to be sure.
This looks to be a quality piece. The mark is not one registered in any of my books, but there again, remember I am not an expert in these types of continental wares.
However, I have been sending some of these very finely made white porcelain pieces through to the expert team I use when visitors want to call in the Roadshow type experts. I have been finding these items can often be French made in the late 19th Century, made to a very high standards from older original moulds.
Although these have mainly been reproductions, they are still genuine antiques and are worth a fair amount. It is also clear to see this is a really good piece of art. The large size also raises the perceived value.
I can't say for sure whether your figurine sculpture fits into the above described category, but in any case this looks quality to me, so get it checked out.
