The forum Help Elf says:-
This is an old Staffordshire transferware pot. The R & W pottery mark stands for "Robinson and Wood", (R. & W.) 1832-1836 of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Saffordshire, England, subsequently Robinson, Wood & Brownfield 1838 - 41 of Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The pattern is called 'Manderin'.
They made earthenwares rather than porcelain china. Obviously, this pot is old and there is some value attached, but this would be restricted by any damage on the item.
