Moss Rose Johann Havalan Bavaria Germany

by Barbara Nordstrom
(Florida)

I was given an 8 place setting of Moss Rose china. The mark on the back says, "Johann Havalan Bavaria Germany". The name "Havalan" does not have a "d" at the end. On the bottom of the sugar bowl there is a very old looking sticker that says, "not associated with Havaland and co. NY". Does anyone know if this is an antique set of dishes, or one made in the 1970's?

Thank you,

Barbara Nordstrom
