Old 19th Century Flow Blue Cup with a Crown Pottery Mark with 'ELY' above and 'W&H' below:- Can you help me identify this tea set? It is flow blue china from my grandmother who told me it was at least mid-19th century. The crown has "E L Y" above it and "W & H" below on some pieces, with 3535 or 3544 painted in gold on other pieces.
Thank you in advance!

This looks interesting and old flow blue cup. I looked up the W & H initials (Ely looks like it might be the pattern) and there seem to be 3 distinct possibilities for W & H marks on old Staffordshire wares.
Wood & Hulme of Burslem, Staffs 1882 - 1905 (continued as Henry Hulme & Sons)
Wildblood & Heath of Longton, Staffs 1899 1927
Worthington & Harrop of Hanley, Staffs 1856 - 1873
So because you sent in a photo we could examine ok, it turns out that your maker is, in fact, Worthington & Harrop of Hanley. They used this mark from 1889 - 1899, so it looks like the mid century dating is a little ambitious.
