Old Staffordshire Johnson Brothers Stamp (off centered) in turquoise & tiny crown:- I picked up a set of 8 dinner plates at an estate sale auction of an elderly person who apparently passed away. What amazed me is that after several days of research, I cannot find anything even close to these plates in order to get a value. Given the marks, according to your guideline I'm thinking they must be from the earlier production when the company was young? The plates are round, off white with a lot of crackling.
Thanks.

The forum Help Elf says:-
This particular variation of the JB mark is not shown in Goddens Guide or potteries.org (online), so dating is tricky. However, in style it looks similar to the sort of marks which were issues from 1913 onwards, so my guess would be not older than 1913.
