Potter Marks Query, Overmark with 327, stamped 5 or S & 3 hash marks on vase:- This vase was part of a friends mother's estate. It is believed to have belonged to her grandparents who lived in France. They had collected numerous antiques. We have searched the web for the over mark, but have had no luck. The vase is in great condition, no chips, cracks etc. Other than thinking it is french we have no clue as to who made it. Your insight and input would be greatly appreciate. It stands about 10" tall.
From the pics - the bottom has a 1" wide overmark with 327 etched in the center. There are 3 small hashmarks scratched into another section of the bottom. Finally there a stamped "5" or "S" with two small marks stamped on each side of the number. No country stamp, no labels.
Thank you!

Thanks for uploading you pics.
This one goes outside any general knowledge we might have here, so let's hope a person with specialist knowledge pitches up here.
I think even the experts I use for my appraisal service might struggle with this one. They may be able to pin down a date, a value and a regional style, but the actual studio might well remain a mystery.
