Pottery Mark on Pair of Figurines Impressed Marked "Germany" on Side
Pottery Mark on Pair of Figurines Impressed Marked "Germany" on Side:- Hello, I'm submitting another set of figurines for "mark analysis." I received 8 figurines from my grandma, after she passed away. They were gifts to her from a "wealthy" friend, but I do not know much about them. These are rather tall (5-5 1/2")and are of the same style as the other Chelsea gold anchor figurines that I received. These seem to be painted nicely, but to not have a "gold anchor" mark. Their mark is actually a part of the porcelain mold - it is not painted on. The mark on both says "10188" with "Germany" below it. The man in in excellent condition, but the lady has a chip on the brim of her hat. I've searched high and low to find the manufacturer of these figurines and have come up with nothing.
Any help is appreciated!
Alyssa
