Pottery Mark Query- Flying Bird:- My wife and I have been cleaning out our basement in anticipation of arrival of several foster children. In a box in a corner, we found these china plates. We began looking online to try to find out a bit about them, but have been unable to find out too much about the manufacturer. We figured out that the pattern is called moss rose, but the mark on the back is still a mystery.
There is no manufacturer name, only a flying bird over what I think could be a swirling ocean. I am not sure what type of bird this is, though at first I thought seagull or arctic tern. Searching both of those has given no results. I have done a google image search looking for this marking to no avail.
There are some Chinese markings on the back, which we painfully translated into English. Upon translation, we got China-made, which I guess we could have read in the English letters directly above. I am at a loss on any further steps to take to find any of this out.
Any help I can get is greatly appreciated. Pictures are attached below.
