Pottery Mark Query:- pair of ornate figural candelabras "red 37" :- We have this beautiful pair of ornate figural candelabras that have been passed down through my husband's family and have not been able to find any information about them.

The only marking is as shown and it appears to be the number '37'.

I think this may be an interesting one.

I am no expert, just a ceramic sculptor, but I know enough to think these may be genuine antique rococo furnishings possibly from Germany - therefore could be expensive.

The lack of marking suggests old, but I just don't have the database to look this up - this is expert territory.

I would suggest you go to this page on my site and organize a proper valuation pronto.

Your photos are a bit too small for an expert to look properly, so either get someone who knows how to do photos, or use our photo service.
