Pottery Mark Query - pretty all-over single rose transfer pattern jug pitcher:- My wife recently bought these 2 floral jugs from a charity shop as she was captivated by their pretty decorations. Both jugs are of identical size 14cm and have a single rose with the wording "Made In England" underneath - see pics.

We do not expect that they are of a well know and respected origin but more of a mongrel variety. This is of no consequence to my wife as she loves them to bits.

I would like to know if they have a "family name" so that I could then purchase similar items as my wife would like to start collecting these.

I appreciate that the supplied information is limited but any information as to their origin would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

Dave Mattam

I have a piece with the same mark
by: Maureen U.S.A

I have a large pot, maybe a planter of some sort. It has the same mark. I have not been able to find who made it as well. Did you find any information on your pieces?

No luck so far
by: Sonora Red

I have had no luck in finding any information on this mark. I will keep looking. The jugs are beautiful.

The picture of the jug said it has roses on it but they are pansies.
