Pottery Mark Query - S Porcelain Marking cut with small lines on bird figure:- We found this figurine an estate sale. We were watching the Rode Show and was wondering about the mark on the bottom. We would appreciate any assistance on defining who, what, when, and where. Thanks so much for any assistance. The figurine is a yellow bellied blue bird feeding its babies in a nest it is about 8 inches tall, incredible detail. The adult bird has a worm in its mouth, three babies. The nest is on the end of a branch. There is other details but too much to type.

Many thanks for submitting, and hope you are finding the site useful. Sitzendorfer Porzellanmanufaktur are the manufacturers - a very nice German maker. You can use my in house search engine to find out more as there are a few different posts mentioning this maker. The mark photo is not clear enough to distinguish age. There are subtle differences which tell the age of the backstamp.
