Pottery mark question - Crossed Three Feathered Arrow Tails & Four Digit Number.:- This is a nice pitcher that is marked handpainted. The mark shows signs of wear but the pitcher is in great shape- no cracks chips or crazing.

Hi Kimberley
Many thanks for your nicely
merged photos. Your mark could have been clearer, however, I got the picture
Your pitcher is by Arnart: Made in Japan. This crossed arrow with four digit number is very typical of one of their many different marks. They were a mass importer of volume goods and were operating until very recently - renowned for 'impersonating' marks of older European makers. Their wares have no collectible value currently, so it would not be worth your fee to get them appraised.
