Pottery Mark - Royal Albert - Info on backstamp please
Pottery Mark - Royal Albert - Info on backstamp please:- hi, my wife collects royal albert bone china mainly the winsome pattern however we recently bought a royal albert art deco tea set but the backstamp seems to differ from the advertised age. The backstamp seems to be closest to the 1917 post world war one backstamp but still slightly different,
can you shed any light on this for me
regards
jimmy

Hi Jimmy
And welcome......
The mark above dates from 1917 and was used for a 10 year period, according to Goddens. There are no differences between yours and the one shown in Goddens.
