Pottery Mark saying "K.T.& T 228 semi-vitreous":- I found this large pot, don't know if it is a chamber pot or not. It has K.T.& T mark # 228 semi-vitreous. It is 9 inches tall. would really like to know the age and where it came from...

This splendid all American pot is by award winning bone china maker Knowles Taylor & Knowles, one of the only American firms to rival Staffordshire for the quality of their bone china.

They used this style of mark in the latter part of the 19th Century - this dates your china bucket nicely.

Knowles is collectible. I am not sure how collectible these earthenware pots with handles are, but it would cross over into two sectors, Knowles Taylor Knowles collectors and also antique kitchenalia.
