Royal Doulton Sandwich Tray Valuation Query
Royal Doulton Sandwich Tray Valuation Query:- This plate again, belonged to my Mum who died in 2005. I am gauging from a lengthy search that it (or the pattern) is rare. I am really only wanting to assess if/how valuable it is - without spending money I don't have to do that.
Beyond Ebay which brings up nothing - how else can I guage it's approximate value? I've googled, binged, yahooed and just about everything for well nigh an hour now. I've found items like my plate on auction sites which require you to join to see the prices.
Can anybody point me in the right direction or will I just have to pay to have it valued correctly?
Pam

Hi Pam
Many thanks for your query.
Yes, you are right to use your judgment when to pay for an appraisal and when not to.
These Doulton sandwich trays can normally go for up to $15 USD unless a case can be made they are very special (which I don't yours is). SO best not to have an appraisal on an item like this.
Anyone needing valuations, you need to use my service because it is simply the best online. Why? Because it was designed by you and for you.
My Promise to You:-
There is no asking for money up-front, no credits to be purchased and only a fee to be paid if the report ticks all the boxes. The service is quick, efficient and offers a full money back guarantee. There is no service to compare with this online and all other antiquarian online referal services are either much more expensive (most certified appraiser's charge $75.00 - $200.00 per hour, www.MyGrannysAtticAntiques.com charges $50 USD minimum charge , Worthpoint.com charges $10 UDS monthly membership fee, PLUS $20 USD each report, etc etc.)
Access this service here if you need it (use your judgment):-

Valuation appraisals and pottery mark identification research are two different things.
More tricky Pottery mark identifications are handled here:-
