Royal Vale - Canadian Mounties

by Lin Knight
(Bristol, England, UK)

Hi

I would be grateful if you could assist me.

I have 6 cups and saucer and the mark on the bottom is Royal Vale Bone China - Made in England. There is also a pattern number on the cups, which looks like 6864, but the only pattern number I can find with this mark is by Colclough and this is not the pattern I have.

Mine is one with Canadian Mounties and the word Canada marked on the cups and saucers.

I have attached a photograph and would be grateful if you could provide me with some information relating to them. These were a wedding present to my parents and date back to c1950.

Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Lin

The only way I know of identifying patterns online for free is to go to Replacements.com and use their blue bar visuals down the left hand side of their page.

I am presuming you found the main page article on Royal Vale within the site.
