Unidentified Studio Pottery (Art Pottery) Vases:- I've been going through boxes of pottery that were given to me by a friend. I came across a few vases I was hoping someone could help me with identifying the maker and/or any information on when it might have been made, etc.
Studio Pottery Vase 1 Beige Decoration:- This is one of the vases that I need help with identifying. It has an inscribed mark on the bottom, but I'm not totaly sure what it says, it loks like it could be EUN JIN???. This vase has rough texture where the dark swirl type mark is and there seems to be a blueish color that is outlining that textured area. The glaze on the light tan part of the vase looks crackled.
Studio Pottery Vase 2 Blue Decoration:- This second vase does not seem to have any marking at all. This vase looks and feels to be made of some type of sandy clay and the black areas are somewhat raised and smooth. Also, at the bottom half of the vase, it is rippled.
I hope that I have described the vases well enough and that the pictures are good enough for someone to be able to possibly help me with getting any info on them.
Thanks in advance!!
