unknown pottery porcelain mark on figural group with harp:- The pictured figurine is 9.5"x8"x5" it has 3 small leafs stamped? in the base right at the point were the hollow starts the is no apparent stem to the leafs?
I have a lot of experience with "pottery and porcelain Marks" but have no clue what the double ended arrow with squiggle is. no other marks that can be found.
Any help will be appreciated
Bill

Hi Bill
Many thanks for submitting, and hope you are finding the site useful.
You mention leaf markings and a double ended arrow mark, but from your photos I can't see either. You need to upload a clear close up to get the best out of the answers here on this forum.
What I can comment on is the quality of the sculpting work which, even from far away, has little tell-tale signs of being absolutely top notch. So either this is genuinely antique or the reproduction company have the original moulds. How to tell is to look at the base for signs of newness vis a vis wear.
There was a fashion for the original 18th Century figures to be reproduced early c.1900's late 1800's. Your wares many well come from this era. It would take a specialist to identify the exact studio and/or confirm my thoughts of date.
With a bit of luck, one of our knowledgeable contributors will help out on this one – (check out the comments section below for replies)
