Bird on plant vase but yet has spout

I don't know what this is but I got it from a garage sale of a lady whose mother had died and she didn't know anything about it and didn't know how long her mom had it but says she remembers it being around forever. Nothing on bottom of either ones.

Hey, great china antiquing! Methinks this needs an expert on quirky china because I have never seen anything like this before. However, it looks quite difficult to make and, actually, quite well sculpted (and made) - suggesting a maker who knows what they are doing.

Please get an appraisal/opinion and report back.

Any chance this is part of a lamp? I recently took a tv lamp from the 50's apart to clean and this photo reminded me of the base before I replaced the light bulb and switch with cord.
