Where is this from, MONA Crown??:- I got this saucer, teacup and plate from my exhusbands Grandmother who was from Scotland before she died. I thought it CAME from Scotland but can't find a darn thing on the internet. It looks like it says MONA on the bottom of all three pieces with a gold/brown crown. Underneath looks like a swirly 'W' with the letters BRDS in it and the #2 underneath the W. Im just curious as to it's history if anyone can help. His grandmother was 105 when she passed.

Hello
I have a tea set with markings of crown and MONA, underneath this YasY, beneath this. Top right hand corner of pieces - 2586. Pieces are white background with gold/dark blue patterns around rim with other flowers and garlands largely in amber colour. Any info on age, history, worth etc?

Pottery Mark with "Mona" - Pattern or Firm?
by: The Forum Help Elf

Hi Guys

Can you all just clarify if you all have the same pattern? If so, the word 'Mona' is just the pattern name rather than the company name.

If you have different patterns and all have the word 'Mona' it is the (hitherto unheard of) company name.

Please post below, thanks.

H.E.

I also have cups, saucers, milk jug, sugar bowl and small plates also with the number 2586, the crown and the W. It belonged to my grandmother who died many years ago, but she never said where it came from. She was born and lived in Kent.
