Winged Crown Pottery Mark

by Sally
(Sydney, Australia)

Winged Crown Pottery Mark:- Hi there, I was wondering if you could identify a mark for me. It's on a small black glazed ash tray with small flowers added & a gold trim that looks like net?

It says made in England and has a winged crown in the middle of the mark.

in appreciation,

Sally Roberts

I have a possible lead.

Check out http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/p/plantrhsl.html

These are crowned wing marks from RH & SL Plant, a Staffordshire pottery. Also click on the link at the top left for "examples of RH & SL Plant ware." Look at the example second from the bottom. Is this your "gold net" trim?
