What do the numbers on the bottom of my Royal Vale Service Mean?

What do the numbers on the bottom of my Royal Vale Service Mean?:- Hi, I have a Fabulous vintage Royal gold trimmed Vale Bone China, made in England tea cup and saucer, with pink rose buds. It is signed Royal vale. At the bottom of the cup, above the Royal Vale logo, written in gold are numbers 7525. Beside the made in England is the number 2, written in gold. I would like to know the value, if any. I have several sets.

Thanks

Cheryl

What do the numbers on the bottom of my Royal Vale Service Mean?

Hi Cheryl

Many thanks for submitting, and hope you are finding the site useful. Your Royal Vale collection sounds stunning. These vintage bone china tea services are becoming quite the thing again.

The numbers on the back are to do with internal factory references and you need specialist books to tell you what they mean - try clicking on my search link to eBay in the top right hand column of this page - (in the box headed "Ebay Bargains").

You can get directly through to your local ebay and search for books on the subject which might well be really cheap and quick to get hold of.

Knowledgeable contributors also please try to help with this one if you have any knowledge in this area (check out the comments section below for replies).
