please help me with your Cold porcelain expertise Sangeeta

by Virginia
(Cornwall UK)

I have followed your recipe to the letter, and the dough when I put it in the fridge was rather soft, and I am wondering if I cooked ot ;ong enough. I have a 750 W microwave, and it seemed similar to the consistency on you demonstration, I had to use Cornflour as we don't have Cornstarch as a product in Cornwall UK. Hope you can help me.
Thank you from (a 75 yr old GrandMother) Virginia.

Hi Virginia,

If you have 750 W microwave then you need to cook it a bit longer.
Put the dough in the fridge only once it is completely cooled down and the extra vapor accumulated in the plastic bag is wiped off and the bag changed to a dry one before putting it in the fridge.
Corn flour is the same as Corn starch. In North America it is commonly known as corn starch.
You can fix the soft dough by adding cornflour to it and kneading it to the right consistency.

I hope the 2nd batch of recipe works for you.

Good luck & Happy Claying!
